Rally Studios Bowling Alley Drone Video Goes Viral

The video, “Right Up Our Alley”, was shot on a racing drone at Minneapolis’ Bryant-Lake Bowl. The one-take video doesn’t use any digital effects, it took 2 hours and 10 takes to get right. Filmmaker says “It is a true one-take. There is no CGI.” He speaks on the positive nature of this video being people can see the skill that it takes and the unique ability to combine the skill of an amazing pilot, the technology of a drone and the story that is able to be told with a one-take.

Today we’re bringing you part two of Rick Rubin’s conversation with producer Kenny Beats. On last week’s episode, Kenny broke down how regional sounds in hip-hop have spread across the US and connected disparate cities. Since his first conversation with Rick, Kenny’s star has continued to rise. In the past couple of years he has produced songs with Ed Sheeran, Da Baby and Vince Staples. He’s also taken several trips to the UK, and produced over 30 songs with British artists like FKA Twigs and Slowthai. Today, Kenny explains how for the first time in the history of hip-hop, an American sub-genre made its way across the pond to the UK, only to come back to the States in an updated form that is now influencing American rappers. Kenny and Rick also talk about why they don’t care about understanding English rappers’ slang, and how a group of German classical musicians are co-producing some of the biggest hip-hop records today.

Everything from the popular local dances to the type of crime most prevalent in different cities can inform the sound of a local scene and influences how Kenny might approach making a beat. Today, we’re kicking off a two-part series of interviews with Kenny Beats. In the one you’re about to hear, which was taped a while back, Kenny maps out the evolution of regional sounds in hip-hop … drawing parallels between disparate cities. ETH Zurich is developing a robot dog that is much friendlier than the Boston Dynamics one. It can genuinely cooperate with humans to perform tasks such as cleaning up after them and many to assist as seen in the video posted by Mashable. This is exciting, we don’t have to be scared of technology but I feel we should treat AI with kindness and love, just like everything else.

One of the major influences in my life, Outkast! This is a classic! I remember when the outkast clothing line first came out and I had the Outkast hoody, it was dark blue/white with the Angel Winged O, like this one.

It is apparent that these boys are the truth, Andre 3000 is an incredible, intelligent soul and Big Boi is that dude. ATLiens, Atlanta Aliens that have dropped a string of albums that were well thought out and with deep rooted messages. Their music is Raw, Intelligent and well polished, carrying the culture and influence of what the REAL SOUTH IS… considering I am from Albany, GA the home of Trap Trakz, Ole-E, Blak Boi, DJ Tremayne, Big Nod, Kno Gud, Field Mob, Particularly Smoke!!! he is super dope out of the field mob dynamic. It isn’t to knock the talent of Shawn Jay, he is talented but his ego and arrogance in the past makes people not want to deal with him, also the fact they never gave Ole-E proper credit for his work is just upsetting. Anyways back to Outkast!! REAL ATL MUSIC!!!!! Consciousness and Intelligence shines timeless through their projects! Much love 2 you guys!! Andre even worked with my family Russell Dreyer for some Photo Shoots where he dressed in tattered and low key bummish, yet stylish threads to convey a message. That message was received by me as him letting people know appearance is not what you should be worried about and judging people based on their looks is not the right way.
